So with Open Beta in full swing, Mythic seems to be holding no qualms about bringing down the servers for short periods of time to make adjustments based on our feedback and the data that they have collected during the Open Beta. This is great news to me! With many games that I have Beta Tested (LOTRO, DDO, AC2, Some Horror game that sucked, Pirates of the Burning Sea, etc) Open Beta was used as a way to preview the game and generate pre-orders. The servers were opened for Beta and there was no downtime for the run of Beta. With WAR they are obviously working hard at getting out last minute patches and adjustments to make sure things are working well on the IMPORTANT day. Launch Day.

So, for those of you not in Open Beta, be assured that things are going smooth. Every day they introduce little patches that improve performance, squish annoying bugs, or add little tweaks that make things better. I thinnk we are going to have an incredible game at launch!

If you live in EU, I'm sorry.... It's looking like Mythics EU partner is having issues, but isn't that always the way of it with these games. The Aussie's and Euro's get to take it in the butt.
